COPYRIGHT DASHBOARD:
The Copyright Dashboard is designed to provide users with the current status of their copyrights. Here’s a guide to help you navigate and utilize the features of your SongSafety dashboard effectively.
Dashboard Overview:
Needs Attention:
- This shows the title of the copyright filed by the user and indicates which copyrights require more information in order for us to complete the submission process. To resolve this, the user must start a chat with our team using the chat feature icon. This will allow us to capture the information we need to get their copyright sorted.
- To start a chat, click the chat icon button on the lower right-hand side of the screen:
Available Copyrights:
- The number of copyrights the user has paid for and can file. Note that government filing fees still apply.
- To purchase additional copyright click here
Needs Attention (Total):
- This will display the number of total copyrights that need attention.
Copyrights Filed:
- This displays the number of copyrights filed. Completed copyrights can be archived, which is a good way to organize projects and maintain a repository of successfully completed copyrights.
START A NEW COPYRIGHT:
Start a New Copyright:
- Click the "New Copyright" button to start a new copyright. This will lead you to the copyright survey. Answer the questions here, and we'll capture the information needed to file your copyright.
Copyright Status:
- This section of the Dashboard will show you the status of all copyrights you've filed. Here's how the statuses work:
- All: A comprehensive list of all your copyrights.
- Complete: Copyrights that have been successfully filed.
- In Progress: Copyrights that are currently being processed. We review and file your copyright promptly, though it may take up to 72 hours to complete
- Needs Attention: Copyrights that require further action or information.
- Payment Needed (below): If government filing fees are needed and have not been paid.
This dashboard is a centralized tool to help you manage and monitor your copyright statuses efficiently.
